it is secure. you probably mean it is not private — which is correct, though only partially. bitcoin is pseudonymous, not anonymous. for stronger privacy there are 2nd layer solutions like lightning or liquid, though these have their own limitations
which payment network would you consider "secure" according to your definition?

@nathanael Pretty much any big bank will be way better than bitcoin in this regard.
edit: Also, if you buy a pizza (or almost anything else), it is possible to link your bitcoin pseudonym with your real life name, so it is not even that much private.
